This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal data, and how we otherwise ensure that your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable legislation. This document also outlines the terms of use for the app.

Mitt Trädgårdsår is available to users across different devices. In order for this to work, Mitt Trädgårdsår stores information that is linked to the user account you create. By creating an account, you agree to the terms of use of Mitt Trädgårdsår.

  • Photos and notes that users choose to store in the app

Mitt Trädgårdsår uses various IT service providers to operate the app, such as for database management, data storage, and app development. We do not share your data with anyone else for any other purpose than to provide a functioning app.

The most recently updated version of this document is always available on the App Store, Google Play, and our website.

Mitt Trädgårdsår reserves the right to update the privacy policy and terms of use at any time. If changes are made, the updated version will be published on the App Store, Google Play, and on our website: https://www.mitttradgardsar.app.
We recommend checking the site regularly for updates. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on the website. If you do not accept the updated policy and/or terms, you can delete your account by contacting us.

 

Additional terms of use

  • Please note that we reserve the right to delete your account if it has been inactive for 365 consecutive days. In that case, we will contact you via email. If you do not log in within 10 days of our notice, your account will be deleted.

  • The app may contain links to third-party websites. If you click on a link, you will be redirected to their website. Please note that Mitt Trädgårdsår is not responsible for these sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies and use of cookies.

  • The information in the app has been reviewed and quality-assured, but Mitt Trädgårdsår cannot be held responsible if your plants are damaged after following the advice. If you are unsure about pruning or other care, please consult an arborist or gardening professional.

 

Apple Requirements (End User License Agreement / EULA)

To comply with Apple's requirements, we clarify the following:

  1. Parties to the agreement: This agreement is between you, the user, and us, My Garden Year AB – not Apple. We are solely responsible for the app and its content.

  2. Scope of the license: You are granted a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s usage rules, including Family Sharing or volume purchases.

  3. Support and maintenance: We are responsible for all support. Apple has no obligation to maintain or troubleshoot the app.

  4. Warranty: We are responsible for ensuring the app functions as described. If you purchased the app via the App Store and it does not work as expected, please contact us first. If you want a refund, you should contact Apple. All other liability is ours.

  5. Product claims: We are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including:

    • Product liability

    • Legal and regulatory compliance

    • Privacy and consumer protection

  6. Intellectual property: If a third party claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we – not Apple – are responsible for resolving the issue.

  7. Right to use the app: You represent and warrant that you:

    • Are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo

    • Are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties

  10. Apple as a third-party beneficiary: You and we agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you.
